Details Section
Choose Your Mirrors Thickness.
There are two options here: 4mm Mirror and 6mm Mirror.
The 6mm Mirror is slightly more rigid and is especially suitable for being screwed onto a bathroom wall.
The 4mm Mirror is suitable for when mirror is to be applied to a backboard with adhesive then mounted or for wardrobe doors, etc.
The choice is yours however and both are suitable depending on your requirements.
Choose Your Edging Type.
The choices are Polished Edge
(which is a Smooth/Flat Edge) or Bevelled Edge
(which is an Angled/Sloped Edge).
A picture appears to the right of the box showing an example.
Choose Your Fixings.
There are 6 options here: None, Screws, Clips, Adhesive, Concealed Fixings and Corner Clips.
A small description appears at the bottom of this section for each of the items.
If you choose concealed fixings a small box opens for you to choose the orientation of the mirror as these fixings are bonded to the back of the mirror, either Landscape or Portrait. If your mirror is square you can leave this at either.
Choose Your Number of Holes.
This option is for screw holes and is only available if you choose None or Screws from the Fixings dropdown.
If you require holes in a specific place please choose the appropriate number then use the Customer Notes section of the Confirm Order page to let us know where you want them or that you will be sending an e-mail to us with the details. N.B. These are screw holes ONLY not large holes for Electrical Sockets, etc. Please e-mail us for a price for sockets before ordering.
Choose Your Safety Backing.
This is a strong plastic film adhered to the back of the mirror as a safety measure should the mirror get broken. It holds the mirror together avoiding falling shards.
This option is required by law if the mirror is in a public place if the mirror has Screw, Clip, Concealed or Corner Clip fixings. We would also recommend this in all these situations even in a private dwelling.
Safety Backing should NEVER be used with Adhesive.
